Nature Guiding

My spouse and I work as nature guides, sharing the breathtaking nature of eastern Hokkaido.

We focus on unique natural wonders like Tancho and the Kushiro Marsh, both designated “Natural Monuments” by the Japanese government.

We’ll show you the high points of each season that only locals really know about.

We also aim to provide a warm guiding experience that lets you feel nature breathing around you and leaves a deep impression on your heart.

Interacting with the people who live here will also be a memorable part of the journey.

You don’t need a car, or have to use public transportation.

Since we’re a certified “Excellent Outdoor Business Operator” approved by the Hokkaido governor, we can pick you up straight from Kushiro Airport or hotels within Kushiro.

On our guided tours, we prepare a Swarvoski field scope for up-close nature viewing from a distance. You’ll experience the excitement of seeing the expressions of wildlife that can’t be captured with the naked eye or a camera.

◎Custom-Made Guided Tour

This is a customized tour tailored to your requests.

We will guide you around Eastern Hokkaido, focusing on Kushiro Shitsugen National Park.

Even without binoculars or a telephoto camera, you can take home memories (and photos) using our field scope.

Pick-up and drop-off is available at hotels within Kushiro City (excluding the Akan area), Kushiro Station, and Kushiro Airport. (Other locations can be discussed as well)

Customers with rental cars can also meet on-site. However, please note that there is no discount on the guide fee.

Guide Fee (including tax)

– Long Course (Full day, about 7 hours)

Single participant: 27,000 yen

Two participants: 18,000 yen per person

Three participants: 15,000 yen per person

– Short Course (Half day, about 4 hours)

Single participant: 16,000 yen

Two participants: 11,000 yen per person

Three participants: 9,000 yen per person
